First of many graduations to come! So proud to graduate as Salutatorian back in kindergarten, with Mama right by my side.
This is a cherished memory from the start of my kindergarten graduation ceremony. I’m dressed in a classic white graduation toga and cap, moments away from receiving my honors for achieving the rank of Salutatorian the 2nd highest academic honor in Philippine elementary and kindergarten recognition systems. Beside me stands my mother, holding my certificate, while teachers and other guests surround us to celebrate this special milestone. The venue is an open-air school grounds, typical of community school ceremonies here in the Philippines.
